Good Morning Eagle Friends.... And we begin another day.

With tea in hand, we get to see the beautiful sun filled nest empty nest. Looks like a beautiful day for an egg to be laid. Now we just need the cooperation of DT.... Plenty of time to have a Passover-Easter Eggie....

Glad to see that Dad and DT were at the nest on DeeJays Live Obs as the nest was empty last night.



09:25 DT arrived at nest with breakfast and Dad is right behind her. DT is doing her normal not sharing with Dad as he waits patiently. Poor dad...






09:30 DT Leaves fish and heads to love branch where Dad is waiting.


09:32 We have mating...Gives us hope for an egg..... DT give Dad a little talking to after mating. Just Click...

Just a side bit to what we saw earlier (8:30ish), just before Dad returned....Holly was watching Dad as he perched on a branch near the original nest tree ...a crow on each side harassing him. She was so excited to be able to get nice close shots, when he took off toward her, snagged a branch and flew right over her on his way back to the nest! Yes, she was awed and all she could say was "wow"! Duane naturally had to tease her ...it's what he does

Holly had another WOW moment indeed. Kinda cool standing in the background as the male grabbed the stick right over her and to see the look on her face as she turned to me and said "WOW!!"
