Norfolk Botanical Garden Eagles

Either the USDA guy scared them off before 8am and they returned after he left or he never showed up this morning because the Eagles were active this morning. The USDA tends to do their dirty work before or after NBG is opened to the public...some of us are able to get in at 8am on weekends.

Thanks, Duane! She is so beautiful this year and Dad is as dapper and sleek as ever. Enjoyed the video with the sound of the fountain in the background. I miss that sound from the days on cam.

Thank you Duane! I see clearly that "DT" just doesn't apply any more. I think she's been using Crest Super Whitener on her tail... But DT she was and DT she will always be, in my little head.

I am so excited to see these pictures and thanks for posting them......I'm even more excited to read that they are beginning their lives together and hopefully folks can allow them to live happily everafter!

Thank you so much for the great pics. It's bittersweet hearing that they're still in the garden and working on a nest. I applaud their determination but I hate to think of another year without bobbleheads..............

Glad you and other photographers are documenting this season, disturbing as USDA and ORF attempts at dispersing the NBG eagles are. I hope you will consider producing another book, perhaps with more text to explain events.
