Norfolk Botanical Garden Eagles

Well where do I start? Lets just say the entire staff went out of their way to host this event. Ed Clark presented us a history of WCV. Dr. Dave gave us a play by play history of Buddy's stay at WCV. We had lunch. Oh did I mention that we got to see Buddy? And that was not even the highlight of the day. It was time for Buddy to have a dremal treatment on his beak and we all were allowed to witness the entire procedure from start to finish. What an experience.

Once again thanks to WCV for hosting this event.

Hi jrdeal

I am home now . Only took 2 pictures with my dinky little digital camera - and decided to let pros handle it . LOL As expected it was too dark for my camera to get Buddy. Will look forward to your pictures as well as all the other photogs.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone. Talking to Ed and Randy - they are wonderful people. Also enjoyed the very beautiful turtle that I had a nice conversation with.
Last but not least - I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Duane. You will all be glad to know I did not hurt him. LOL. He gave me the most beautiful card of ....... yes you guessed it "MY EGRET" . It is very beautiful and I will treasure it always. He also gave me another Egret picture that is beautiful as well. Thank you so much Duane.

I hope a wonderful day was had by all - I feel blessed to know so many nice people.
Fancy and Elsa - what can I say ???? I love you so much and so happy I got to meet you. Have a safe trip home . I will always treasure the time I spent with you today.
I would call you all by name - but would be upset if I left anyone out. I enjoyed meeting YOU ALL and this is a day filled with fellowship of good friends to always remember. Thank you all for such a wonderful day.

What an amazing acomplishment! I have to confess to getting all choked up on that one.
Everything else was just icing on the cake!

It was a spectacular day and I can not wait to see everyone's pictures...
