This is video I took during and after Reese Lukei's class. The video quality is horrible. I think I had some focusing issues. (I bought the camera a long time ago for a reason, used it, then it sat ever since and I've forgotten how to use it. And this is what you get... # The part I took during Reese's class is also without a tripod and I do realize that breathing is over-rated, but I just couldn't help myself... But you do get to see the lead up to and then HK finally making it into the nest. And the best part is the audio -- getting to hear his woeful cries as he makes his way back into the nest. Much of the discussion that you hear during the first 5 minutes and a few seconds is Reese's comments to the class. The last 3 minutes show Mom to the left of the nest and HK to the right of the nest and this is when the sleepy-head girls finally wake up. The girls get in some really good wingercizes.

Just previewed and found out that photobucket must have a 5 minute limit on video. :? So, the first five minutes is in the first video and the rest of what I describe above is in the second video (3:12). I tried to pick up where the first one got cut off at 5 minutes...

This video (1:33) gives Dad some time. He made a fish delivery then flew off to a nearby branch. First, we hear him vocalize, then he gives a shake, then he gets harrassed by the bluejay.

I know this won't replace the eagle cam, but you can get your fix a little bit, plus, there's sound :!: Sorry about the horrible quality. Try to enjoy it anyway...

Image Chris! I've been wondering today if you'd get your videos posted....they're terrific. Today there was a lot less vocalizing while I was there. Late this evening just before 7 when we left the Gardens he was moving easily from the cam tree to the old love branch and back onto the nest....it looked like there may have been nestovers and he started feeding w/o harrassment from the sisters.

Thanks again for your vids from yesterday....it was quite a day :D

Thanks for everyone's comments. I was hoping that people could get past the quality and appreciate the content. Especially the people that weren't there, I wanted you all to be able to experience it too. It was an incredible day!

I never did find the hummers Shelly. Which is why I posted the pics of the buzzers... I stayed until 3:00 and they just wouldn't show.

Hi Chris, after reading your description of the video and the quality of them, I passed them up the first time. You shouldn't underestimate yourself like that! Well this morning I watched them and I am so glad I did! They capture some really nice moments, especially the first one. Awesome! Why don't you post these on youtube, or have they been already? There are very few videos of these eagles on youtube and would be wonderful to have them available. I'd certainly give them a five star! :D

Chris, clear as a bell to me - sure beats not seeing anything. Love hearing the background chatter of folks and eagles conversing with each other.
what a kick, thanks so much  :P :o
