As many of you know there was another intruder at the nest at around 9am and I happened to be there while it unfolded. The unknown Eagle flew straight into to the nest from the Friendship Pond area while the male was perched in the current nest tree. I saw the Eagle flying at tree top level but because of all the branches in the way I couldn't see what actually happened once it reached the nest. I'm assuming it landed in the nest tree and the male lept from the branch he was perched on and landed on top of the intruder Eagle then both fell out of the nest tree. This is when I caught sight of them falling to the ground. They eventually flew separate ways once they were about 15' above the ground. I thought at first they had locked talons but from my images it seems the male just attacked the Eagle from above....he is the upper Eagle in this image I managed to capture. The male circled the court then landed in the 2004 nest tree and watched the intruder Eagle circle NATO Pond then leave towards the backside of the gardens not be seen the rest of the morning.
Here is an in-flight of the unknown Eagle that flew into the nest this morning at 9am.

Both Eagles appeared to be un-injured after the incident.
